The government, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian Fintech Association (Aftech) launched Cekfintech.id, a site to check the legality of online loans.

The hope is of course the presence of this site can be a reference for the community to make online loans. In its launch, the Head of the Payment System Policy Department of Bank Indonesia (BI) Filianingsih Hendarta said the presence of this site was also part of a commitment to eradicate the rise of illegal fintech.
